Let our team be YOUR local experts in real estate!

If you're watching the news or TikTok you may have a skewed vision of what is going on in real estate. Lucky for you, our team sat in with the President of Keller Williams Real Estate, Marc King, last week and talked about this Shift that everyone keeps referencing.

Our market for the past two and a half years has been a crazy frenzy, but yes the shift has happened.  But what does that really mean?  IT IS NOT 2008!  Thanks to our MLS partner BrightMLS for keeping us in the know of all things related to the market in their monthly newsletter.  This month's topic echoed the words of Marc King.

There are several factors that those national news and TikTok posters don't know that we do.  Are you ready for some insider information?

Home Prices on average increase 4% per year. From 2009 - 2020 we were below that 4% increase in prices for homes.  In 2021, we were slightly over that 4% line. Ask us to see the data.

Mortgage rates were historically low for the past few years, now rates are in average range.  Don't let the rate deter you from buying! Marry the house and Date the rate.  The rate is over the life of the loan, you can refinance and we have some amazing partners offering waivers on loan fees! Again, ask us to see the data.

We would love to talk more about the current market! Reach out to us michelle@harnickteam.com.
